Ideas for exciting biology lessons in vocational training

Are you new teacher in biology at a vocational training? Or have you been teaching for many years and been attracted to renewal? New Internet publication provides advice, hints, exercise suggestions and more.

Ministry of Education's new Internet publication "Biology in vocational training" gives advice and inspiration for biology teachers at vocational training. In the publication, the emphasis is on helping teachers with the practical issues they face in everyday life. How can they, for example, help students understand the many foreign words? And how can teachers differentiate instruction and thus meet the students' differences?

Out in the field

There are also ideas for how to work with the material at school and not least in the field. The publication offers such suggestions as to how teachers can use the excursions in nature and visits to classroom instruction. The publication also reflects the variation width of the teachers' opportunities in due course. You can work with case work, role plays, movies, video and animations from the Internet, practical exercises and experiments and field trips.
