
Nordic Climate Day with ministerial visits to Johannes School Gymnasium
Icelandic high school students from Reykjavik and Danish high school students from Frederiksberg cooperate on climate and science. November 11 is the Danish students visit by Bertel Haarder.
At the Johannes School Gymnasium scientific study has students focus on climate and energy in the Nordic countries - for example through the program "Nordplus Junior." November 11 is the high school and particularly a 2.g class therefore the visit of Minister of Education and Minister for Nordic Cooperation, Bertel Haarder. College student has Nordplus Junior established a partnership with a school in Reykjavik. Nordplus Junior is the Nordic Council of Ministers' program for the Nordic-Baltic cooperation in primary and secondary education. The program will focus on: * The important Nordic cooperation * Climate and science as themes * Communication and cooperation in Scandinavian languages * Visibility of the Nordplus junior program. Secretary of State will visit meeting the pupils participating in the project. They will among other talk about and demonstrate the production and use of solar cells and how they work in relation to geothermal energy and hydrogen technology.
