New network in the Baltic region strengthens nanotechnology
EU gives 16 million. kr. for large international network to strengthen the high-tech development in the Baltic region.
Lack of cooperation between business and regional research institutions means that the opportunities for growth in the Baltic region insufficiently used. Therefore, the EU granted 16 million. kr. to the new EU project - Technet_nano which is a network where small and medium enterprises and research institutions in the Baltic region can leverage each other's skills. - Technet_nano will allow companies to develop their know-how across borders - for example, we will provide resources and clean room available, so companies can develop their high-tech products, says Horst-Günter Rubahn. He is a professor of nanotechnology at the Mads Clausen Institute at the University of Southern Denmark and is in charge of the new initiative.
