Girls find internships

More girls should study scientific and technical subjects. Therefore offered 17 Danish companies nearly 80 girls from grade 8 a short internship when they met at Experimentarium.

Became interested in the technical

Another of the speakers is Kirstine Banke. She graduated in summer. Originally, she wanted the Agricultural University to become a veterinarian, but during the high school, she was more interested in the technical. Therefore, she changed her mind and will instead apply for the Technical University of Denmark this summer, where she will study medicine and technology. It allows her to work with people, but still learn a lot about technology.

Emma and Sara chooses Ramboll

Facts

Under the title The internship as a problem solver - girls in science and technical subjects, the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Ministry of Gender Equality, DTU, DI, Experimentarium and Engineering Association, IDA, decided to focus on getting more girls to choose scientific and technical subjects at youth - and higher education.
